Malawian born John Nkhoma has 16 years experience working in African private and public sectors. He gained his Geology Degree at Aberystwyth University in the United Kingdom and since has gained a MBA, and accumulated extensive experience working in southeast Africa including Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe. John was Deputy Commissioner for Malawi Ministry of Energy and Mines and later held the position of Chief Geologist for the Malawi Geological Survey. John was integral to the development of the following energy projects in Malawi:
i. Hydro - Stabilisation of Kamuzu Dam 1, Construction of Kamuzu Dam 2
ii. Coal - Establishing Kaziwiziwi, Mchenga, and Nkhachira coal mines.
